HP Rancho Music is a management and production company dedicated to the development of fresh Mexican talent, including acts like Tierra Cali and Viry Sandoval. The organization is led by Humberto Plancarte, who rose to prominence as the co-founder of Tierra Cali, a popular Mexican regional music group created alongside his brothers Rafael, Efraín, Arcadio, and Cruz.
The crown jewel of HP Rancho Music, Tierra Cali hail from Uruapan, Michoacan, kickstarting their journey in 2003 with a distinct 'musica calentana' sound, which melds regional rhythms, folk dancing, and rural poetry. In 2009 they scored their first international hit with “Si Tu Te Vas,” which quickly became a favorite among fans in the United States, while songs like “Llorarás” and “Donde Quiera Que Estés” have also secured their place as radio and party staples. Viral music videos for singles such as “Amor Te Amo” and “El Infeliz” have accrued nearly 40 million plays collectively, while the group has also scored 2 platinum albums, 6 gold albums, and multiple nominations for Premios Lo Nuestro and the Billboard Awards.
Over the course of two decades of musical excellence, Tierra Cali was supported by multiple record labels including Discos Ciudad, Líderes, and Vene Music; the latter a sub-label of Universal Latino. As the project grew, Humberto Plancarte unveiled his own label Victoria Music in 2014 as to begin releasing all of the group's music independently. Plancarte consolidated all his projects with the launch of HP Rancho Music, a leading brand within the expansive universe of Mexican regional music, recruiting the finest young talent Mexico has to offer and producing successful, top-notch tours across the continent.
